Rules: The regatta will be governed by the Racing rules of sailing, the prescriptions of US Sailing, the rules of each class, this notice (except as any of these are altered by the Sailing Instructions) and the Sailing instructions
This regatta will follow the same format as the Outback Cup.
Expected Classes F16, F18 , H16 , H18 , Open Class.
Any one-design multihull with 5 or more boats will have their own class
Monohulls Open to all PHRF and one design of (min.) 20 ft in length . 5 or more boats will have their own class. Expected classes-PHRF 171, spin fleet/non-spin fleet, cruising fleet.
Cruising Fleet Racing Saturday only Courses that we will choose from on Race day are standard LMYRA Distance courses, 6.1 and 9.1 miles.

Fees: , Monohulls, and 2 person Multihull $50. Single Hand Multihull $40. This fee includes breakfast 2 days, and 2 Saturday night dinner tickets (except for single-hand multihull) .
2008 proceeds will go to 2 charities, Camp Kemo, a week long camp for children with cancer, and Canoeing For Kids. CFK's has long been one of our favorite charities. Jay Alley runs a not for profit organization that allows underprivileged and other disadvantaged children an on the water instruction in canoeing and Kayaking.
Last years proceeds($3100 went to fund the building all of the new 97 bed free standing Children's Hospital here in Columbia. This will be the only dedicated Children's Hospital in the State, and a much needed asset to our community and to the health of our children statewide. All Proceeds from 2006's regatta have gone to offset expenses for fellow SEACATS member Paul Goff following his open heart surgery. 2006's Regatta raised $2200 for our friend Paul.
Sailing Instructions: Available at the registration table Friday April 20th and beyond. Changes to sailing instructions will be posted on the CSC Bulletin Board at the clubhouse at least one (1) hour prior to affected race.
Number of Races: (scheduled but not limited to) 3 races on Saturday on 2 on Sunday.
Scoring: The low point scoring system, Appendix A of the RRS, will apply, except that each yacht's total score will be the sum of her scores for all races (no throw outs).
